This policy explains what data the Block Porn / Adult Filter - Advanced Porn Blocker Chrome extension collects, how that data is used, and who it is shared with. It applies to all users of the extension, on both the free and Pro plans.
The following data is saved in your browser's local or synced storage. None of it is sent to or accessible by the extension developer.

Free-plan users send no data to any external server.
If you purchase and activate a Pro license, the extension communicates with Freemius, a third-party licensing and payment platform, solely to manage your subscription. All communication with Freemius is encrypted over HTTPS. The following data is sent:

Payments go through Freemius's own checkout page, which opens in a new browser tab. The extension never sees or handles your payment details. For information on how Freemius handles the data they receive, see their privacy policy at freemius.com/privacy.
The extension does not store or transmit the URLs you visit or the content of any page you open.
Website blocking and Safe Search enforcement are handled entirely by Chrome's built-in declarativeNetRequest API. It evaluates network requests directly on your device and sends nothing to an external server.
The webNavigation listener checks navigation URLs to catch pages that reach your browser from cache or a service worker, bypassing the network-request rules. The URL is only read in memory to decide whether to redirect; it is never stored or sent anywhere.
The domain time tracker saves only the hostname of each site you visit (for example, "youtube.com"), not full URLs, query strings, or page content. That data stays in your browser's local storage.

The extension does not use analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. It does not sell or share your data with anyone other than Freemius, and only then for Pro license management as described above. Your data is never used to build profiles, target ads, or serve any purpose outside of the extension's core blocking and time-tracking features.
All locally stored data is deleted when you uninstall the extension. You can also clear specific data without uninstalling:
License credentials — clicking "Deactivate" on the Upgrade page removes your license key, installation record ID, and API token from local storage and notifies Freemius, freeing the license to be activated on another device. The anonymous install ID is not removed on deactivation; it is only cleared when you uninstall the extension.
Custom blocked domains — you can remove individual domains from the extension popup at any time. They are also cleared automatically when you deactivate your license.
Custom redirect URL — removed automatically when you deactivate your license, or you can clear it from the extension popup.
Domain time data — use the reset button in the "Most Visited Websites" panel to clear all recorded time data.
This extension is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL with a new effective date. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the updated policy.
